World Games 2022 Opening Ceremony

The schedule for the 2022 World Games Opening and Closing ceremonies is fixed on 7th July and 17th July respectively, to be held at the famous new Birmingham Protective Stadium. The event will be a visual treat, where famous personalities and performers Yolanda Adams, Alabama, Bo Bice, Sara Evans, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Taylor Hicks, Jamey Johnson, Nelly, Pastor Mike Jr. Martha Reeves, Sheila E. Ruben Standard, Tony! Toni!Tone!, Worth The Wait, and Yung Bleu will entertain the attendees.

Artistic Director of the World Games 2022 Dr. Henry Panion in a statement “It is our goal to showcase and celebrate the very best of Alabama in presentations that are both festive and reflective, commemorating our past yet articulating the hope of our future.”

It will be a star-studded affair, where the opening ceremony will kick off on 7th July with live performances, special effects, honorable dignitaries, showcasing and Celebrating the Power of the One, and also lead by the parade of athletes representing more than 100 countries.
